E3 2008
The event known as E3 has gone through more than a few changes in recent years. Up until 2006, it was inarguably the single biggest, most important trade show and event in the entire game industry. This year, E3 returned to the hallowed halls of the Los Angeles Convention Center, but in a different way. The event itself no longer occupied the entire venue (restricting itself primarily to the central Concourse Hall), and it changed its name to the E3 08 Business and Media Summit.

nope i feel PC gaming is fast coming to an end. There just isn't any money in it for developers. So they simply make games for consoles and if possible do a crappy conversion for the PC.
The only games that will really carry on is games like World of Warcraft and Football Manager. The odd FPS will keep going but again these are generally made for consoles and just converted over for the PC. |

Developers are lossing more money and time makign games for PS3 than any other console or pc. they say it takes like a extra 3 months off coding just to make a game on ps3 compared to xbox.
BUT if they release a game on xbox before the ps3 they have to put extra content on the game otherwise sony wont let them release it and game developers hate this. Thats why you see games coming out about the same time now otherwise they would release xbox games way before there ps3 counterparts.
