Just tried this out and although in the early days it graphically doesn't seem the best (not bad but not the best).
As for the gameplay it's a little weird to start with especially as I've been used to playing PGR on the xbox, the handling jsut doesn't seem real enough for me. But it does have a great career mode with a neat story line going with it. The game seems to have gone from the streets and onto actual racing in organised events. This might be something to do with the fact the game does keep reminding you not to race on the streets in real life, so it looks like they are trying to push the message that it's just a game and you shouldn't really be going out in your car and racing around the streets. From the start of the game you have to drive some really crap slow car, Golf GTI, so ok in real life it ain't bad and not slow but on the computer it's a dog and doesn't feel very good. I'm guessing by the amount of races your gonna have to do, that it's gonna take ages before you get any decent cars. Personally i prefer the older need for speed's than this one. Or i'll just stick to PGR on the xbox |

I gotta agree it's got some nice ideas like the damage but the one thing that separated the NFS series from other racing games was the free roam and actual street racing. I haven't played Carbon but Underground and Most Wanted were great but Pro Street just feels below par.
