Supreme Commander

Just grabbed this game and it's rather impressive if you like these types of games. Not sure if anyone can remember an old game called Total Annihilation, well this is very similar but with better gfx and all the rest. Plus it's made by the same guy.

The gameplay is very easy to use and rather addictive if you like building up armies and power supply etc. Oh and then engaging in war. It has multiplayer mode, Skirmish and campaign, so plenty to keep you going. The maps are huge although you can have small maps too. The deatail is great. Infatc that leads me to the only downside i can find so far. The detail is that good that when you start getting into major wars with huge armies your computer may start too lag if it's not up to the task.

Supreme Commander awesome game! dava thats the game i wanted

i've got it but can't stick it on a disc though cos it's 6.5 gig and my dvd's are only 4.7 gig. Unless i use one of my dual layer disc's but i'm not sure how to burn onto those yet

At gamecopy world there is usually a tutorial on how to split each game onto multiple dvds if you don't have dual layer discs

this game is spot on only one problem i keep spending 1-2 hours playing it :P are well the miss's likes the back of my head :P

ye i'm rather impressed with it too. Have you tried multiplayer out? Was wondering how that was. Not sure if this type of game will work well as multiplayer. The single player mode is very good though so i'm happy
