Ring Magazine Awards 2007:
Ring Magazine have announced the end of year awards for 2007, No surprise really as Floyd Mayweather takes the accolade for fighter of the year with his two mega fight victories, a 12 round decision win over Oscar De La Hoya and a 10 round TKO win over Ricky Hatton.

Event of the Year: Floyd Mayweather-Oscar De La Hoya
hmmm i would have to disagree there and say it was the Hatton fight. I mean it did bring in more money so it has to be the fight of the year. Yes it wasn't the most exciting but it was the fight everyone wanted |
